Why are we turned off by religion?
Thoughts to Ponder
Non-believers all seem to turn their nose at God and even get defensive exclaiming the famous "don't be cramming your religion down my throat" remark.
Friends and family might poke fun or disagree, or may think they would not be accepted hanging with you.
Life tragedies sometimes trigger a feeling that it's all God's fault. Looking closer you might see it is the Devil's fault.
Exposure to new cultures Other religions from different culture can cause confusion. "Religion is the devil's tool to hide the truth."
Material wealth Can be sought after to the point of hurting.
Sexual values People don't want to be told what to do or criticized for it.
Religious hypocrisy "Why should I believe in his religion when he isn't sincere."
Objection to particular religious doctrines "I can't belong to that religion if you can't dance or drink coffee."
So am I to ascertain that Satan has his hands in manipulating all these life traditions and cultures to make it look like you can't accept Christ (or be a Christian) since you want a certain life style or to be in the in crowd?
Answer: It doesn't matter for we have the gift of salvation and eternal life through Christ Jesus!
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
You cannot do enough good to enter the Kingdom of Heaven!
John: 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
There are as many ways to hide the truth as there is life circumstances.
I Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

Material Goods, Power and Wealth. Can't take it with you when you die. But what do you take?
Everything you ever did, were, or planned. Interactions with everyone. Your family and your friends. Co Workers too! Your soul minus your body. Every second, every minute. It is all recorded.
